After AT&T and Verizon both lowered their prepaid unlimited data plan prices, T-Mobile is following in the footsteps of its competitors by offering a discount on its prepaid unlimited data plan. For a limited time, customers can sign up for a $50 per month prepaid plan with unlimited talk, text, and 4G LTE data.
That puts T-Mobileâ€™s plan at a much cheaper price than Verizonâ€™s $65 prepaid plan, which doesnâ€™t include mobile hotspots. That said, T-Mobileâ€™s plan limits mobile tethering to 3G speeds and video streaming to 480p. The plan is only for domestic use, too, whereas Verizonâ€™s plan offers unlimited talk and texting in the US, Mexico, and Canada, along with unlimited texting to over 200 countries.
